kidseeMission Statement:

"To eliminate visual blur from uncorrected refractive errors in all US children ages 5 through 15, for now."

Dr. Brelvi's Experience:

In the past 7 yeas that Dr. Brelvi has practiced at the Vision Center of Wal-Mart at Mt. Olive, NJ, he has examined in excess of 12,000 patients. As the primary eye-care physician at that facility, he has noticed that quite a few school-age children brought in by parents are visually compromised. Upon questioning the parents, he's learned that some notes from the school nurse, either do not reach them or are routinely ignored for various reasons.

Dr. Brelvi's mission through the KidSEE 20/20 Vision Program is to ensure that all school children between the ages of 5 and 15 have access to affordable eye exams and eye-wear, at a modern facility run by trained professionals.

The staff and management of Wal-Mart and its Vision Center are fully committed to this program. Dr. Brelvi's staff is trained to make the vision evaluation and frame selection a pleasant encounter for both the parents and their children.

How Can You Help?

Dr. Brelvi and his staff do their best to spread the word through flyers, by talking to community leaders, school administrators and local healthcare personnel, but help is needed from volunteers and allied social workers.

Currently, Dr. Brelvi and his staff see about 6 to 8 young children a week through the KidSEE 20/20 Vision Program. With your collective help they would like to see that number rise to at least 20 a week!
